What are Intel® Core™ Ultra processors?
Intel® Core™ Ultra processors are designed to reshape commercial computing by enhancing power efficiency, integrating artificial intelligence capabilities, and improving device management and security. They feature a holistic approach to power efficiency, achieving up to 40% lower power consumption for tasks like video conferencing. Additionally, these processors support AI tasks, offering up to 2.5 times the AI inference performance per watt compared to previous models.
How does Intel vPro® enhance device security?
The Intel vPro® platform enhances device security through several features, including Intel® Threat Detection Technology, which uses AI-assisted anomaly detection, and the Intel® Silicon Security Engine for hardware-based authentication of system firmware. These capabilities help reduce the attack surface of devices and are supported across the Intel Core Ultra processor portfolio.
What benefits does Intel® Device Discovery provide?
Intel® Device Discovery allows cloud services and tools to interact with Intel vPro® platforms, facilitating better data collection for device management decisions. This is achieved through the Intel® Innovation Platform Framework, which enables remote querying of PCs to gather information such as platform identity and device history, ultimately enhancing the functionality of device management software.
