What is the Amplimax Ultra?
The Amplimax Ultra is an outdoor 5G Customer Premises Equipment (CPE) designed for Fixed Wireless Access (FWA). It is developed and manufactured by the Elsys team, focusing on providing reliable internet access through mobile networks, particularly in areas with weak signals.
What are the installation features of the Amplimax Ultra?
The Amplimax Ultra features a smart display that assists users in locating the best position for the device by showing the RF strength of each carrier. It includes two physical SIM card slots and one internal eSIM, allowing for flexible connectivity options. Additionally, it supports a blind search function to help point the device towards the nearest cellular tower.
What are the data rates supported by the Amplimax Ultra?
The Amplimax Ultra supports various data rates depending on the technology used. For 4G LTE, it offers a downlink of up to 2.47 Gbps and an uplink of 900 Mbps. In 5G mode, users can achieve a downlink of up to 3.47 Gbps and an uplink of 660 Mbps, providing robust performance for internet access.
